Before you stuff your face with turkey and mashed potatoes this Thanksgiving, try to fit into that Day-Glo polyester dress you bought at Goodwill but never thought you would get a chance to wear. It’s that time again: ’80s Prom! Already in its eighth year, the bash, put on by the Sweat Records crew, has helped Miami relive the questionably fashionable decade every Thanksgiving eve. Word is this year’s shindig at the Vagabond might feature cameos by some totally tubular icons. (Maybe Michael Jackson and Ronald Reagan, but you didn’t hear it from us!) However, no prom is complete without a DJ, and this party will feature five of the raddest: Tommy Gunn, Carlos Llanos, DJ Hottpants, Laura of Miami, and Deejay Smeejay. And just in case things get a little blurry as the night wears on, nefarious Miami photog Jipsy will operate the requisite prom photo booth.
