Want to write a novel but can’t get started? Or maybe you banged out a brilliant first chapter before getting distracted by the new episode of CSI: Boise? Well, keep watching that tractor chase because the Florida Center for the Literary Arts is finally offering a seminar called Writing Your Novel the TV Way.

The average American logs more than four hours of tube time per day, so you’ve already done your homework. Now all you need is some assistance from a writer versed in the ways of network television. Meet Anjanette Delgado, an Emmy-winning writer and multimedia producer whose first novel, The Heartbreak Pill, won a 2009 International Latino Book Award. She even has a sitcom coming out, produced by HBO Latin America. Let the TV set teach you to write.
Saturdays, 12:30 p.m. Starts: Sept. 18. Continues through Nov. 13, 2010
