Uncle Luke talks sex at the strip club

Uncle Luke, the man whose booty-shaking madness once made the U.S. Supreme Court stand up for free speech, gets as nasty as he wants to be for Miami New Times. This week, Luke confirms the champagne room is used for more than sipping bubbly in many Miami-Dade strip clubs.

The price of sex has gone down to $50 at local strip clubs. In fact, so many girls are screwing customers that the holdouts are losing money. So says an exotic dancer I met recently. She complained that she is going to get kicked out of her apartment because she won't put out.

This girl — we'll call her ATL because she's from Atlanta — says dudes cut deals with the hoes before they go to the backroom. A guy will let a ho know that he is going to make it rain on her when she's onstage. When she sees the money fluttering all around her, then she knows what she has to do.

Last year, cops shut down Cheetah's in Hallandale Beach. They arrested 16 dancers and two managers on misdemeanor prostitution charges. I thought local law enforcement authorities had a handle on this shit. Apparently not.

ATL has worked at all the big strip clubs, such as Coco's, King of Diamonds, and Tootsie's Cabaret. There was a day when ATL would get on the top stage at any one of those titty bars and make $300 or $400 dancing to one song. Now she's lucky to collect $10. More and more, girls are dancing less and just having sex.

At one of these fine establishments, ATL says, the men are loose from Ecstasy and because they know girls are going to do them. The pimps are posting up in this particular club too. They get in free! ATL claims one pimp came in the other night and whupped some girl because she had only $200. She owed him $300.

At another strip club, one you can see from I-95, ATL doesn't worry so much about sex as she does about management taking her money. For example, if she makes $500 during one shift, she has to kick back $180 to $200 to the house. When dudes make it rain on a stripper, the club's security collects the money on the floor. They keep 10 percent of that cash before giving it back to the girl.

She claims certain managers at this bar look the other way because they get a cut from all prostitution that's going on. According to ATL, one guy makes sure girls who pay him get all the celebrities and big-money ballers coming through. One night, she was about to dance for Allen Iverson when the manager came in with another girl and told ATL to get out. The other stripper made $2,000 and gave him half.

Well, all of this prostitution needs to stop. Next thing you know, the male strippers are going to start with their female customers. And we can't have that.
