Art at Hand
Two Miami-based artists, Antonia Wright and Ruben Millares will present their latest work at “A Great Disorder Is an Order.” Wright’s series of photographs, titled “On the Other Hand,” repeats the same gesture – a reaching hand – in varied contexts. Whether a friendly wave or a plea for help, the reached hand haunts the viewer. Millares will present a multisensory installation of mobile sculptures and ink drawings for the exhibition. Using personal metal hangers, consumed shell fish, and leftover construction materials, he plays with the idea of equilibrium.
