Punch the Magic Dragon

Four weeks ago, the Miami Heat was flailing without Dwyane Wade, who had been sidelined with a strained calf. The team dropped games against the lowly T-Wolves and middling Bucs, falling below the .500 mark and into third in the Southeast Division. D-Wade’s return game against the Orlando Magic was good, but not good enough. He was clearly plagued by rust, while his teammates remained plagued by The Suck. Four games later, though, Wade pretty much did it all against division rival Hawks, including punching Michael Beasley in the chest during a team time-out. Then Beasley tore things up. He scored 14 points in the fourth, including seven in a row in the final two minutes to give Miami the much-needed win. This Thursday, Miami will take on division rival the Orlando Magic at the American Airlines Arena. This time, Wade will play sans rust. And he will punch whomever he must in order to get this all-important division win.
