If your main complaint about the game of professional pigskin is that there aren't enough people playing in their underwear, 2009 was your year. Why exactly? Because the Lingerie Football League, a girls-gone-wild sideshow in the trashy tradition of Vince McMahon's ill-fated XFL, scored some serious regional TV time, thereby increasing boobage and broadening its audience. All in all, it was a really big year for half-nude athletics.

Now, is the LFL as titillating and thrill-filled as promised? Nope. But the Dolphins are dead and you've gotta do something sports-related this Friday night. So be there when the third-ranked Miami Caliente and the sixth-ranked Tampa Breeze bring the catfight to the BankAtlantic Center in this late-season grudge match. As a pregame bonus, the parking lot will be packed with dudes barbecuing in sports bras and assless pants. They call it naked tailgating.
