Courting the King

You could say the Cleveland Cavaliers visiting the American Airlines Arena this Monday is all about the return of Shaquille O'Neal to the arena he helped decorate with an NBA Championship banner. You could say that, but you'd be wrong.

This Friday, when the Miami Heat hosts the Cavs, it's really going to be about what could be, rather than what was. Because, if rumors are true, Heat president Pat Riley will put a full-court press on free-agent-to-be LeBron James this summer in the hopes of having him play alongside good buddy Dwyane Wade. So far, all reports indicate the Heat won't make a move for Toronto forward Chris Bosh during the trading period. That leads us to one conclusion: Riles is saving the cap space to make a run at King James. So if you hit this game, be sure to let LeBron know how much Miami loves him. No, seriously.
