Local chef Norman Van Aken will host Lagasse, who will not only demonstrate his culinary prowess but also share how he came to choose the life of a Cajun chef and not that of a drummer. (Trivia: An accomplished percussionist, Lagasse was invited to attend the New England Conservatory of Music. Instead, he chose to shout, Bam! as he adds spice to dishes.)
