This Black Friday, skip the Wal-Mart stampede and stay home eating leftovers and drinking the beer you woke up with on the couch. Watch a few Chris Farley movies, smoke a fat bowl, make some prank phone calls, shoot a YouTube video of you making ugly faces, and walk into the Roxy Theater and yell, “Horse pussy!” Other good suggestions are “Toyota vagina,” “Godzilla ate your sister,” and “Rock Hardiggan: porn action hero.” Why we are shouting inappropriately? Because audience participation fuels the laughter at Battleprov, an improv show by the guys and gals at Impromedy, and after a few drinks, we think we’re pretty damn funny. Not nearly as funny as the Impromedy folks, but we keep yelling, “Turkey penis,” hoping that one day someone will appreciate our ingenuity. Roxy’s doors open at 8:45 p.m. for a night of virtuoso off-the-cuff comedy. Tickets cost $10, unless you’re a student ($8).
