The Wynwood Art District, Lincoln Road, and even Calle Ocho has its own art walk, and now this cultural craze is going way down south to South Miami, also known by its totally trendy abbreviation, SoMi.

The second season of the SoMi ArtWalk runs from November through May on every second Friday of the month on the streets that surround mallrat-mecca, the Shops at Sunset Place (5701 Sunset Drive, Miami). From 7-9 p.m., selected artists will showcase their creations in venues as diverse as their art, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself ogling impressionism at hair salons such as D&L Hair Studio (7301 SW 57 Ct., Plaza 57, Miami), admiring photography in clothing boutiques like SoMi SoU Boutique (7388 SW 57th Ave., Miami), or taking in still life at the First National Bank of South Miami (5750 Sunset Drive, Miami).
