All of these films are very different, says Jaie Laplante, the festivals program director. But theyll all get you excited.
To wit, The One Last Time is followed by Short Term 12, the touching story of a man who must contend with caring for 15 troubled youths. The film won the Jury Prize in Short Filmmaking at this years Sundance Film Festival and has perhaps the best log-line in the history of cinema: A film about kids and the grown-ups who hit them.
To me, its the film that gets you most engaged emotionally, Laplante says. The program starts at 8 p.m. at the Bill Cosford Cinema
