Looking for a testosterone-filled, ear-drum-rocking, patriotic way to spend the first weekend in November? Well, Homestead Air Reserve Base is revving up its combat-ready reserve unit to satisfy even the most demanding aircraft aficionado’s red, white, and blue needs.

The highly anticipated annual air show Wings Over Homestead will be filled with need-for-speed-quenching demonstrations such as precision aerial maneuvers, aerobatics, heart-stopping close formations, and what we hope will be very accurate examples of precision parachuting. As a bonus for those who love a man in uniform, the officers will be available afterward for a meet-and-greet and autographs.

While most people attending this year’s show will likely arrive by more understated means of transportation, the base encourages grand entrances via personal plane. Those who can, call 305-248-3595 to schedule your arrival. All others should carpool because parking is limited. Admission is free.
