*Up-and-coming "downtown soul" act Ketchy Shuby plays Buddhafest at Tobacco Road tonight in Miami; admission is $10. *Junior Boys at the Vagabond in Miami! Act now and get presale tickets for only $10 from wantickets.com. *Further making your Saturday plans hard to finalize: Drop the Lime plays around the corner from the Junior Boys, at White Room in Miami. Tickets are also $10 presale from wantickets.com. *The first annual WOW POW is tonight at Churchill's in Miami! Performances by Jacuzzi Boys, Electric Bunnies, Feathers, and others, plus something called "Poetry vs. Glen Rice." That involves actual poetry, folks. *The kind of sludgy, kind of epic Miami kind-of-supergroup BEINGS plays a free in-store at Sweat Records in Miami tonight, in celebration of band member and artiste Beatriz Monteavaro's book release. Boise Bob and His Backyard band also play -- interesting line-up juxtaposition there. *And the final Alligator Alley show: Stonefox, Whirl, and probably a bunch of other "special guests" will come to wish the venue a peaceful rest.
