If you believe in astrology, people born under the Libra moon are the most art-loving, attention-craving, charitable, and detail-oriented of the bunch. Sure, not every person born between September 24 and October 23 is supercool, innovative, and giving, but Tigertail Productions sure is. Thirty years ago, when downtown’s art scene was just a twinkle in Miami’s eye, Tigertail began laying the groundwork. The Tail has been living up to its astrological expectations ever since. Celebrate this major milestone with the Art N’ Soul Kickoff Party at the River Lounge this Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Music will be provided by Boise Bob and His Backyard Band featuring Clifton Childree, spoken word by Tigertail’s Wordspeak Team, and live poetry-for-sale by the Miami Poetry Collective, not to mention the spectacular bay views brought to you by Mother Miami herself.

The event is free, so get acquainted with Tigertail. “I’m a Libra. I enjoy long walks around art galleries and holding hands in museums.”
