Though it teaches you to add, promotes team building, and provides a wonderful opportunity to don interesting footwear, bowling gets a bad rap. But we'd bet that if the sport announced it was pregnant with octuplets, the nation would go wild for it again. Well, rumor has it that the hierarchy of cool begins with the gays, so the Miami Beach Gay Bowling League (now in its third season) is ahead of the curve and it's time we all caught on. Each Tuesday for ten weeks, 14 local teams will meet at Lucky Strike Lanes from 8 to 10 p.m. for ten frames of ball rolling, cheering, and — for one lucky team — winning.
