Detroit native and current Berlin resident Magda is one of the most highly regarded DJ/producers on the international techno circuit, and arguably the female counterpart to minimal king Richie Hawtin. The latter signed Magda to his label in the early '00s, and the two regularly share headlining bills. Midwesterner Troy Pierce originally hooked up with Magda at the 2001 Detroit Music Festival before eventually also relocating to Berlin, where he has made his mark and gained a massive following through sheer production genius.
