Those who frequent too many Internet gossip sites might forever (in Internet years, anyway) associate Cisco Adler with a certain waist-down photo that circulated a couple of years ago. That's OK, though. Here in South Florida, land of a thousand chances, blog notoriety guarantees the opportunity to appear in expensive Miami Beach nightclubs. And Adler is nominally a musician. Though he no longer fronts Whitestarr, a band best-known for being chronicled on a VH1 reality series, he's now working with alt-ish rapper Shwayze — and the partnership was duly chronicled on an MTV reality series. They co-wrote Shwayze's 2008 self-titled debut album, which scored some bona fide hits: The haplessly happy singles "Buzzin'" and "Corona and Lime" reached the upper half of the Billboard Hot 100.

This Wednesday, both men will drop in on the alternate reality that is the superclub LIV for a performance in the kind of swanky-sleazy environment they know best. Doors open at 10 p.m., and tickets cost $30 in advance.
