Purdy Lounge is like that girl in your phonebook you ring up once in a while for a booty call. It's not that you’re ashamed of her; you just don't see her as somebody you'd go steady with. Plus she always makes herself available to you, so why ruin a good thing?

At the end of the weekend, after folks have partied themselves numb Friday and Saturday, Purdy Lounge’s Chocolate Sundays seem like the perfect low-key cure. There have been few changes since the party began: Induce spins in the front room while Ray Milian and Jessica Who? handle business in the back. Drinks are some of the cheapest on either side of the causeway, the dress code is nonexistent, and there’s never a cover charge. Yep, just the way we like it. The party starts at 11 p.m.
