So, in its ongoing quest to become Miami's premier cultural institution, O.H.W.O.W. is now doing a movie night. But don't expect to see the latest blockbuster art house films and documentaries are on the schedule. This Thursday, the gallery will screen The Legend of Leigh Bowery, the story of a queer icon who influenced both the art and fashion worlds before succumbing to an AIDS-related illness in 1994.
Like all O.H.W.O.W. events, the Thursday-night film screenings are open to everyone and free even the beer and popcorn are on the house. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the film begins promptly at 9.
