Kevin Hart is easy to spot in a crowd of tall people. Not because his height stretches beyond the dimensions of average man, but because he’ll be the knee-high guy holding up the sign reading, “Will work for inches.” Ba-doom-bap. OK, so we’ll leave the jokes to the man himself and just bring our raucous, impolite laughter to the Miami Improv from this Thursday through Sunday. His humor has stood up against comedic glitterati such as Steve Carell and Eddie Murphy in films such as The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Meet Dave, but the stage is where his career began. When the five-foot-four-inch Hart enters the spotlight, he’ll surely have to adjust the mike and maybe stand on a stool, but once you ignore the fact that he’s itty bitty, you’ll surely be rolling in the aisles. Though his own material gives his height no mercy, even we know good things come in small packages — look at the Porsche Cayman and Krispy Kreme doughnut holes. Tickets cost $18.19, plus there’s a two-drink minimum. Purchase tickets, check showtimes, and giggle at Hart’s headshot at miamiimprov.com.
