What do you get when you take Greg Grunberg and Adrian Pasdar from Heroes, Teri Hatcher and James Denton from Desperate Housewives, mop-topped Bob Guiney from The Bachelor, and Jesse Spencer and Hugh Laurie from House? Yes, the cast listing for the 2015 season of VH1’s Surreal Life, but also The Band from TV — a group of friends that has taken its at-home rockin’-out to A-list proportions and landed a No. 1 hit CD/DVD on Amazon.com. The band wasn’t created solely for the type of ego stroking that these actors were robbed of when they joined laugh track-less TV shows; they’re jamming to raise money for charity. This Saturday’s concert at the Shore Club will benefit the Epilepsy Foundation. The show will rock from 7:30 to midnight, but visit bandfromtv.org to get a sneak preview.
