Director and producer commentaries have become de rigueur in the DVD industry, but why hadn’t anyone thought of doing one live and in person? Leave it to the guys at Miami World Cinema Center, the Knight Foundation-backed nonprofit dedicated to promoting indie film in Miami, to bring in Hollywood producer Randall Emmett (Rambo, Day of the Dead, Righteous Kill) to talk an audience through a screening of his 2007 film, 88 Minutes, starring Al Pacino. The Miami-born and bred Emmett will dish the secrets he’s learned producing 50 movies in the past ten years and then will screen a never-before-seen interview with Pacino, followed by the unreleased dailies from his new film, Streets of Blood, starring Val Kilmer, Sharon Stone, and 50 Cent.

The night ends with a Q&A and the opportunity to find out if the rumor about 50 Cent giving Val Kilmer a ’65 Chevy Impala on the set of Streets of Blood is true.
