Dunkin’ Donuts has a new ad campaign hawking the idea that parents should use doughnuts to drag their kids away from the evil pull of the boob tube. Their proposal: Stuff fried dough down your little ones' traps. We say take them to the City of Miami’s Rowing Club for some fresh-air fun. Today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Miami-Dade County’s third annual Kids Fishing Clinic, young'uns ages 8 to 16 will learn how to snag the scaled inhabitants of our formerly shady waters. Little Bobby won’t pull any dead bodies or carafes full of coke here, and if he does, no worries, because this is a catch-and-release event — so very eco-friendly. Complimentary fishing rods will be given away while supplies last, and the reel-'em-in is free. Pre-registration is required, so hurry and call Liz to save your kiddies a spot.
