The White House’s efforts to distribute tickets online to the annual Easter Egg Roll on the White House lawn have been marked by site crashes and some very overwhelmed Easter Bunnies manning whitehouse.gov. Your holiday doesn’t have to be so disappointing or high-tech, because Miamians celebrate Easter in ways that don’t require bandwidth.

For instance, Jungle Island is holding its annual Easter Eggstravaganza — a mashup of exotic animals, 60,000 eggs for the huntin’, and the only Coconut Tree Climb this side of I-95. Let’s hope the Easter Bunny isn’t insecure -- with lemurs and kangaroos and orangutans (oh my!), he’s not the only critter that will be vying for your attention. There's also a fabulous brunch on the menu.
