Bloc Party invades Bicentennial Park

Now that Langerado has sunk back into the swamp from whence it came, Ultra Music Festival assumes a larger role of persuading rock bands to take a detour to Miami. Enter Bloc Party, the biggest English band since Oasis. Their new album, Intimacy, has them back on track after the minor sophomore slump of Weekend in the City.

Also performing today will be Santigold, Perry Farrell, the Black Eyed Peas, and Brazilian rap star Rye Rye, so if you show up exactly at 4 p.m., expect to wait for Kele Okereke's signature vocals. But hey, there are worse things than gyrating with thousands of your closest, sweatiest friends under the Miami sun.
