Mamma, Join Me-a for a Film!

When Agnetha Fältskog, Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Anni-Frid Lyngstad put their wall of sound up around "Mamma Mia" it was a hit. When the play of the samen name (and an exclamation point on the end) was nominated for a Tony award for best musical, audiences weren't surprised. And when Meryl Streep became the Mamma in the film of the same name and won a National Movie Award acknowledging her turn as Best Actress, it became clear that yo mama doesn't have anything on Mamma Mia!.

Tonight, the Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden presents a night at the movies with a film that had people singing in the aisles all last year. The ushers at your local AMC may frown upon you making a peep once a film begins, you can test your pipes here. Is your "Money, Money, Money" on key? Does your "Dancing Queen" rule? The film begins at 7:45, - show 'em what you got.
