Things that most people no longer do. A: sheep shearing. B: log-splitting. C: cigar-rolling. If you had to go watch one in person this weekend, the choice seem pretty obvious, no?

The great tradition of rolling your own is alive and well today at the La Gloria Cubana Super Roll Championships, the world's premier cigar-rolling competition. But lest you think the six roleros will be there just for show, the grand prize is a humidor filled with 300 La Gloria Cubana cigars, a golden chavata, and an induction into the Cigar Rolling Hall of Fame. Not bad for making something that you're just going burn into ashes.

We recommend checking out the finals on your way to Calle Ocho. Follow the smoke.
