If we ran into your office each day, tackled you to the ground, and twisted your elbow behind your head, you might ask us to ease up on our daily espresso intake. But we’d tell you that your cubicle reminds us of a mixed martial arts (MMA) ring and that the early-morning smirk you wear makes us want to put you in a clinch hold that’ll have you farting out of your ears. If that doesn’t sound like a good time, don’t be anywhere near the Gusman Center this Friday night. And definitely don’t visit ticketmaster.com to buy a ticket for the Revolution Fighting Championships. At 8 p.m., the first Florida State Professional MMA Title Championship fight will go down, and NFL Pro Bowl-er and former Tampa Bay Buccaneer-turned-MMA phenom Marcus Jones will brawl for his second heavyweight title. If history is any indication, there will be blood. And bruises. And perhaps some broken bones. Visit revolutionfightclub.com for the night’s full fight card.
