Support Our Dolphins, and Our Troops

Home-field advantage has its privileges. When the Dolphins were down 16-7 in the second half two weeks ago against the Buffalo Bills, Miami fans began to get that old familiar feeling. That same feeling you get when your flight is about to hit an onslaught of turbulence. You see, in years past, the Fins would see a nine-point deficit in the second half of a game and promptly bend over and allow the opposing team to have its way with them. But the 2008 Dolphins are different. Miami fought back and actually won. Thanks in large part to a suddenly fired-up hometown crowd, Joey Porter and the stout Fins defense decided it was go time and showed the Buffalo offense a fun little game known as "first night in prison" with back-to-back-to-back turnovers resulting in an eight-point swing — and a Miami win.

Home field is everything. And today our Miami Dolphins host the Seattle Seahawks at Dolphin Stadium. As a bonus, fans in attendance will get to salute our soldiers and veterans when the Fins host “Believe in Your Fins — Believe in Your Troops” Sunday, with special military interactive displays and a rousing pregame ceremony. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.
Sun., Nov. 9, 2008
