We might not have mounds of coppery leaves and pumpkin patches to alert us to the arrival of fall, but we can count on Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s Ramble-A-Garden Festival to let us know summer is finally over. And if anything is for sure, this 68-year-old fest is. It brings a weekend of food, music, and family fun. So when you stroll the grounds while sampling goodies from Nell’s Tea Garden and tropical foods from local vendors, you’re continuing a tradition. And when you grab a handful of herbs or a stunning antique, you’re signaling fall to come on in — Miami’s fine!

You’ll feel pretty rural sitting by the lake enjoying live music, but your cosmopolitan side will feel right at home at the cooking demos. The fall fun begins at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are free for Fairchild members but start at 20 bucks for regular folks.
