From the dodge ball Olympics in grade school to the badminton game at your family reunion, your measly career in athletics has always been focused on winning. But you lost. So you figured that being best is for Tom Brady. And just your luck, each year the Beach Bums Golf Classic applauds the mediocre in South Florida golfers who dare to be judged.

The top prize in categories such as worst dressed, ugliest golf game, and highest score are up for grabs, and you’ll feel like a winner for losing. To be fair, the event also offers activities for overachievers: They can hit the Jack Daniels hole or enter the hole-in-one contest to win equally awesome prizes such as airline tickets or a friggin’ Mazda. For $110, you get a day of so-so golf, a goody bag, and dinner at The Links restaurant. The shotgun will fire at 1 p.m. Bring your Z game to the Country Club of Miami.
