Rule number two: Never forget rule number one.” Damn you, Billy Dee Williams, for implanting those rules in our heads at such an early age. How could anyone resist the siren call of Lando Calrissian? We figure well-known Miami graffiti artist Aholsniffsglue felt the same way. Not only did he compete in a recent Colt 45 design contest (under the incredible pseudonym Alouishous San Gomma), but also he’s hosting Coltoberfest 305, an only-in-Miami mashup of music and art being held at — where else? — Churchill’s. The show is being sponsored by Colt 45 and Vice magazine, so you should already know what you’re getting into. Come for more cold Colts than you can guzzle, and check out the miniature works of art painted on Colt 45 quarts by the likes of Ahol, 131Projects, Typoe, Griz, and many of the other artists who’ve been making their names known on walls in Wynwood.
