Holy Crap! They Won?

The Dolphins beat the Pats! Now it’s the Chargers’ turn.

Suddenly it feels good to be a Miami Dolphins fan again. It's a sensation we haven’t felt for so long. We didn't truly realize how shitty Mondays were until the morning after the Fins drubbed Bill Belichick and the mighty New England Patriots in Foxboro 38-13 two weeks ago. We all woke up and actually looked forward to our day and workweek. We began to take our awful Monday-after-the-Fins-got-their-asses-handed-to-them moods for granted. Ronnie Brown scored five touchdowns, Chad Pennington played mistake-free football, and Joey Porter talked smack and backed it up. The air smelled fresher, food tasted better, and every girl on the street was just that much hotter.

We’ve had two whole weeks of total bliss to enjoy. But that’s passed us now. Now it’s back to business as the Dolphins host the ever-dangerous LaDainian Tomlinson and the surging San Diego Chargers at Dolphin Stadium. Now that we’ve got the first win out of the way, it’s time to collect some more. Kickoff against the Chargers is at 1 p.m.
