The United States has the highest incidence of breast cancer in the world, and the number of women who fight the disease with heart and vigor is just as high. You see survivors running marathons, speaking at benefits, and even working in the cubicle next to you. And you don’t have to wait until October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month to celebrate these women. Thursday night’s Pink Rocks: a Fashion Show to Benefit Breast Cancer Survivors is the perfect place to show your support.

From 6:30 to 9:30, the Miami Science Museum will be abuzz with the excitement of a cocktail hour, silent auction, and, of course, a rockin’ fashion show. But this evening will do more than benefit your social life; the Breast Cancer Survivor Ladies of Save Our Sisters will use the funds raised to bolster their efforts to help those suffering from the most common cancer among women. Tickets cost $35; visit www.teamsosmiami.com to find out where to get yours.
