Black leather. Pierced nipples. Corsets and rope. Lots and lots of rope. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what turns on noted fetish photographer Lochai. His very sensual NSFW website (www.kirinawa.com) drips with images that juxtapose tough against tender, and the delicious friction that can result from unexpected binding. Apparently Lochai ain’t the only one who finds titillation in bondage: In 2006, his stunning photo Beach Bound was dubbed The World’s Most Erotic Photograph by the Erotic Signature art competition. That’s a bold statement. If you want to judge your own erotic art show, we suggest you head to the World Erotic Art Museum.

Sexy South Beach socialites and fetish enthusiasts will mingle Monday evening during the opening reception for Lochai’s monthlong exhibit. Stop by from 7 to 10 to meet the artist himself and become tangled up in his powerful imagery, up close and personal. If a smokin’-hot art party doesn’t fit into your plans for a school night, fret not: Lochai’s art will be on exhibit through August 30. Admission to WEAM is $15, and it’s open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight — most unusual hours for a most unusual museum.
