How Miami's own DJ Irie handles his heavy schedule is anybody's guess. He boasts residencies at the Delano, the Forge, the Ganesvoort, Cameo, the Shore Club — and that's during off-season. When it's high season, Irie is also turntabling at the American Airlines Arena for Heat games, as well as in the Bahamas for the hot glitterati. That's not to mention all the other swanky soirees, from Make-A-Wish events at the InterContinental to the Orange Bowl halftime show at Dolphin Stadium.

Which is to say Irie not only racks up residencies like some other DJs rack up MP3s, but also clocks action as if he were Father Time himself. And this weekend marks his own namesake series of festivities— Irie Weekend — which kicks off at Cameo, links on the greens of the Miami Beach Golf Club, and winds up with a dinner gala at the Gansevoort. This being Irie, there's gonna be boldfaces (Jamie Foxx, T.O., Zo, and Brody Jenner are among those slated to show up). This also being a benefit for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America, you can bet those boldfaces are gonna be on their best game.

And if club-clockin' and event-poppin' and charity-rockin' aren't enough for you, tune in Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday to 99 Jamz's The Drive at 5 (where his mixes have prevented much road rage), or Saturday for Saturday Night Thunderstorm (where he launches yet another dynamite show). Then, come December, pick up a pair of Creative Recreation kicks. Yep, Irie has designed a trio for the L.A.-based maker of crossbreed sneaks.

On a recent evening featuring the beatmaster in action, Shawty Lo's uncommonly anthemic "Foolish" was giving way to Snoop's Too $hort-shaking "Life of da Party." I was about to ask him what was up, when three leggy beauties pushed by me, grabbed his hands, and whisked him away to a place I couldn't even begin to envision.

DJ Irie's current top five:

1. "Paper Planes," M.I.A. (XL Recordings)

2. "I'm in Miami Trick," LMFAO

3. "A Milli," Lil Wayne (Cash Money Records)

4. "C'est La Vie," Martin Solveig vs. Fedde Le Grand

5. "I Luv Your Girl," The-Dream (Island Def Jam Music Group)
