If you’re riding/walking/biking along Biscayne Boulevard any given Wednesday night, your Spidey sense might detect the faint cries of a mangled cat. Hold up now, superhero — that’s just Karaoke Idol at Moonchine Asian Bistro (7100 Biscayne Blvd., Miami). People suck down sake mojitos and attempt to mimic Celine Dion — an interesting combination if we’ve ever heard one. But those Wednesday wails will instead be drowned out by the rhythmic poundings of a beat created by the people and for the people at the monthly Full Moon Party.

Beginning at 8 p.m., there’ll be an assortment of mouth-watering sushi, drink specials, and tunes that will have you howling like a wolf. Lunar movements are meant to be celebrated, so perch yourself at the bar and let one of the ruby-red stools hug your booty while you show your gratitude for another pass of the glowing orb. And don’t forget about the drum circle thumping around the fire on the back patio. You’re urged to bring records, CDs, drums, and, of course, rhythm.
