For this week ’s reprieve, try Alive After 5, happy hour at Out of the Blue Café. From 5 to 8 p.m., this midtown jewel is offering two-for-one beers and house wine to pair with its menu of insanely delicious soups, salads, and sandwiches.

Maybe the allure of noshing on ciabatta laced with marinated rosemary chicken, caramelized onions, and walnut truffle aioli dressing while you lounge on a cool, retro patio as a DJ spins hot beats doesn’t get you excited, but it works for us. Happy hour ends at 11.
