Art After Dark brings fresh expression to downtown.

Figuring out the sly secret behind Mona Lisas smile has perplexed you, us, and everyone else in the art world. If she were a 2008 girl, she would have figured out where to buy a $1.02 gallon of gas. But if youre looking to solve new, equally fascinating mysteries created at the hands of local artists, visit Circa for Art After Dark. No, its not an exploration in fluorescent-light-less expressions, but a venue for alternative forms of artistic expressions.
From 7 p.m. to midnight, the Eclectic Network will bring radical, conceptual, and innovative artists such as wood-and-stone sculptor Julio Cesar Garcia, stained glass virtuoso Robiert Santana, and photographer Vicenta Casañ together in an exhibit that embraces experimental art without pretension. So dont be embarrassed to be lulled into a trance by a piece or two; when done right, the stuff is supposed to make you think. But be warned: DJ OP will be spinning plenty of European, trip-hop, and Venezuelan electronica tunes guaranteed to lull you into an even deeper trance.
