New York’s biannual fashion week is one of the definitive couture showcases in the world, shining a light on the trends that will rule the style universe for the next year. Tonight at 8, Jennifer Lopez’s high-end line, Sweetface, starts the week off with a bang at the main tent on the sand at 11th Street and Ocean Drive. Shows by Parish, Russell Simmons’s Argyle, and Marithé et François Girbaud pop off over the next few days, ending with über-chic Heatherette on Saturday.
