Don’t Spike the Face!

You might think a model’s life is easy, glamorous stuff, but you couldn’t be more mistaken. Put it this way: While your tush is parked in a cushy chair for eight hours a day, those glorified mannequins are expected to have hair and makeup teams pull, crimp, tweeze, and contour them within an inch of their natural lives -- and then stand still for hours at a time. Even when they want to let off some steam, it’s in grueling competitions like today’s third annual Model Volleyball Tournament at the fabulous Nikki Beach. Uh, yeah, you’re right: That still sounds better than sitting in a stuffy office all day.

So today and tomorrow, instead of hating on the workers in one of the coolest industries on the planet, watch them duke it out in six-on-six v-ball.
