Has it always been your dream to wear an orange-and-teal barely-there outfit? Do you feel the only way to get the Dolphins out of their slump is by jumping up and down while waving glittery pompoms? Now’s your chance to join the ranks of the hottest, most hometown-spirited women in the city. That’s right – with a killer bod, a dream, and a little training, you too might someday call yourself a Miami Dolphins cheerleader. Although auditions aren’t until Saturday, April 5, at Dolphin Stadium, interested candidates can hone their skills at the Dolphins Cheerleader Prep Classes held every Wednesday and Friday night at 7 at the Dolphins Training Facility, 7500 SW 30th St., Davie.

Rigorous sessions include stretching, kick lines, and dance combinations. Classes cost $25 each and run through Friday, April 4. There’s one catch, though: No deadbeat would-be cheerleaders need apply -- all participants must attend school or work full-time and be at least 18 years old. Priority will be given to those who preregister online. For registration, visit www.miamidolphins.com and click on Cheerleaders, or call 954-452-7000.
Wednesdays, Fridays. Starts: Feb. 20. Continues through April 5, 2008
