Better than the Honeymoon

We’re still months away from the June wedding season, but any bridezilla worth her salt has been planning the nuances of her big day for months – if not her whole life. And for good reason -- it’s not easy figuring out which knot to tie, broom to jump, and plunge to take. Tonight from 6:30 to 9:30, the place to find all difficult, perfectionist brides-to-be and their possibly henpecked mates is Weddings on the Isle. Hors d’oeuvres will abound, champagne and wine will be passed, spa treatments will be sampled, and all of the elements for a perfect wedding will be under one exquisite roof at the Grove Isle Hotel.

For three matrimonial hours, photographers, dress designers, invitation and jewelry companies, cake artisans, florists, and others will hand out samples, tips, and information on how to pull off the perfect ceremony. And for the fellas who think their only job is to show up on time and sober, there’ll be a groom’s lounge where, we’re guessing, a lot of ball-and-chain jokes will be popping off.
