Ottawa Senators coach John Paddock has recently been tapped to coach the NHL Eastern Conference All-Star Team this year, but he’s already leading one right now: Daniel Alfredsson, Dany Heatley, and Jason Spezza are players that any team would kill to have. The Sens will roll into South Florida with one of the best records in hockey, going against a Florida Panthers team that just can’t seem to break out of its .500 funk.

If the Cats hope to win this (or any) game, they’re going to need to do something different. Taking 35 to 40 shots per game is usually a good sign, but when only one of them slides past even a back-up goalie, it’s time to re-evaluate your strategy. How about we park a big body or two in front of the net and crash after those rebounds? Or we could clone Olli Jokinen. The Sens take on the Cats at 7:30 tonight at the BankAtlantic Center.
