While your liver braces itself for tomorrow’s drinking and carousing, how about you take it easy today and head to the Wallflower Gallery for the Art & Zen Fest? It costs nothing to surround yourself with good vibrations while you get your hands dirty with arts-and-crafts projects, find out how awesome next year is going to be from a spiritual reading, or just chillax with a facial and massage in preparation for throwing back glasses of champagne tomorrow. The healthy food, cool vendors, belly dancing, and music runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and the last Sunday of each month. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. Call 305-579-0069, or visit www.wallflowergallery.com.

If you’re looking for something a little more caviar, a little less granola, Florida’s largest and oldest zoological garden is hosting a night of cocktail-fueled fundraising fun. From 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Catalina Hotel & Beach Club (1720 Collins Ave., Miami Beach) Miami Metrozoo is hosting you, actress Shannon Elizabeth, and local fave Louis Aguirre of Deco Drive at Happy Zoo Year!, a celebration benefiting the Zoological Society of Florida. Raise funds for the education and conservation of wildlife while you ogle the chick who made you wish you had agreed to hosting that foreign exchange student. Tickets cost $175 for the cocktail party, $300 for the private celebrity dinner. RSVP is required, so call 305-255-5551 or e-mail gingers@zsf.org.
