A Hidden Gem

In a city as diverse as Miami, Café Soul, an intimate lounge in Liberty City, has plenty to offer. Jazz in the City at Café Soul is a secret salon of culture for now, but let’s hope not for long. The weekly event presents live R&B, jazz, and eclectic entertainment. Musicians come to sing, dance, and share their poetry and art exhibits. Guests are always eager to take to the stage, where even the shy become bold.

The house band is the Uptown Boys, featuring singer Melissa Stokes. The atmosphere is celebratory, filled with not only music but also great warmth and good vibes. If you’re hungry for more than sweet soul music, there’s a light fare of hors d’oeuvres and complimentary drinks, all to the affordable tune of $20 per person.
