So did your fork feel heavy as you laid waste to Thanksgiving dinner yesterday? Had to unbutton your pants a little to make room for dessert? There’s no shame in being a glutton on Turkey Day, but in the harsh light of day, you can’t escape the consequences of your gastronomic excess. What you need is a little workout to help assuage some of that guilt. Take the scenic route and feed the giraffes on the Turkey Trail at Miami Metrozoo.

Today through Sunday, you and the family can amble down a fun-filled 3.5-mile path past a myriad of marvelous animals. To keep your mind focused on burning off the calories, signs along the way will let you know your distance in quarter-mile increments, and attendees will be given a chart to mathematically calculate the caloric and fat intake of their Thanksgiving feast. We know you love the sweet potatoes covered in mini marshmallows, but that dessert disguised as a side dish is a whopping 432 calories and 10 grams of fat per serving. How many servings did you have? And then you followed that up with some pumpkin pie (316 calories per slice)? Damn, dude. See you today from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
