Comedy always seems to work better in pairs – think of Laurel and Hardy, Abbott and Costello, Sonny and Cher. All right, maybe not the last, but one new comedy duo is making the YouTubers giggle and the old ladies blush. Yamil Piedra and Johnny Trabanco are Miami's very own award-winning Pair of Nuts, a sketch comedy duo that’s sure to please a crowd.

The two have been working together for almost a decade, continually reinventing their hilarity with original sketches (watch their videos for “CK Egg” and “The Law Offices of Facmee & Diaz” to see what we mean – you might want to pronounce that last one a little slowly). This week Johnny and Yamil will be returning to the Miami Improv, where they’ve been previously awarded Best South Florida Performance at the Miami Improv Festival and are always welcomed with loving, open (possibly drunk) arms. A little improvisational sketch here, some brackish humor there, and some videos sprinkled in between are what these two nuts will be offering laugh-seekers tonight. The jokes begin at 8:30 p.m. for just $10.70 a ticket. For more info on deez Nuts, visit www.nutscomedy.com or myspace.com/pairofnuts. Call 305-441-8200, or visit www.miamiimprov.com.
