Old-school cats and their engines will be purring this weekend as the annual Antique and Classic Car Show takes over the picturesque Cauley Square Historic Village. More than 100 gorgeous vintage vehicles will be on display for the sheer enjoyment of any one of us who ever dreamed about riding around in that little deuce coupe Brian Wilson always sang about.

Those lucky enough to own one of these gems can drive it over and show it off to the car aficionados in attendance. Take in tunes of the Fifties, Sixties, and Seventies performed by a live band throughout the day, and after feasting your eyes and ears, grab a bite at any of the local restaurants. There will be plenty of giveaways, including goodie bags, hourly door prizes, and a raffle at the end of the day. Admission to and participation in the event are completely free (to the relief of all of our wallets). Take a trip back in automotive time from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For more info, call car show promoter Gerry Perez at 786-344-4228.
