Tonight at 8:00 throngs of ribald revelers will converge on the Pier House Resort and Caribbean Spa (One Duval St., Key West) for Pretenders in Paradise, Fantasy Fest’s wacky costume competition known for its intoxicating brew of sequins, feathers, and flesh. The event’s theme is “Somewhere Under the Rainbow,” and contestants are invited to click those ruby slippers together for a chance to win $10,000 in prizes and cash. Tickets cost $28. On Friday night at 10:00, join porn legend Ron “The Hedgehog” Jeremy for some more 40 percent-proof lube during his Pimp and Ho bash at Redfish Bluefish (407 Front St., Key West), where only the truly filthy can pocket the $700 stakes.
